BioConnect integrates unified mobile access solution with key access control system manufacturers

BioConnect has integrated its unified mobile access solution with leading out-of-the-box access control system manufacturers AMAG, Genetec, Open Options, Lenel S2, Software House, Brivo, Pacom, Honeywell Pro-Watch, PCSC, Maxxess, Dormakaba, Paxton, Kantech and Honeywell Win-Pak, the company announced.

“The latest development for our unified mobile access solution is really one to further embed our partnerships with the leading access control providers and allow a more seamless user experience for both system administrators and end users,” says Courtney Gibson, CTO at BioConnect. “An enterprise can be up and running with the entire solution installed and users provisioned in under 30-minutes.”

Its unified mobile access solution provides extra layers of security and identity assurance to enterprise doors by leveraging mobile 2-factor authentication for rule-based access through a number of integrated mobile authentication apps such as Duo Security and their proprietary biometric mobile app.

Enterprises can now benefit from enhanced security without having to replace current access control systems, readers, cards or user management. Security admins can sync users to their cards and credentials and roll out two-factor authentication. The solution can easily be deployed for data centers, network closets, server cabinets, machinery, vaults and other equipment.

BioConnect reports a great start to the year. Not only has it celebrated 10 years of business activity, but it has also been recognized among the ‘Top 20 Canadian Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2020’.

Last year, BioConnect launched an innovation hub in Toronto called BioConnect Labs, which leverages the company’s R&D growth engine to focus on biometrics-based security innovation.
