InfoMart offers free biometric background screening solution for essential services onboarding

InfoMart is making its biometric background screening solution for onboarding available for free during the coronavirus pandemic for companies in essential services to optimize recruiting and remote work processing, the company announced.

Candidates can use InfoMart’s biometric verification application, dubbed ASAP ID, to fill out a background check from their mobile device in 60 seconds, according to the announcement, without having to interact with a recruiter directly and ensuring social distancing requirements are met.

Launched in August 2019, ASAP ID combines document checking with facial recognition, and also adds signature biometrics.

“We are utilizing our technology to help companies and people get through this crisis,” said Tammy Cohen, founder and chief visionary officer of InfoMart, in a prepared statement. “With ASAP ID, your job candidates don’t have to interact in-person to get their background check started. They simply open their phone, snap a few photos, and start working in the next day or two.”

“The adoption of mobile biometric solutions to establish digital identity assurance in all facets of onboarding and screening is being driven by the crisis at hand and will be built into the fabric of all systems going forward,” added Marco Piovesan, CEO of InfoMart, in the statement.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, InfoMart employees work remotely to ensure all customers receive background screening results in time. The company has been on the market for more than 30 years and has a comprehensive portfolio of screening services such as ASAP ID, Verified Watch List and SSN Trace.
