Behavox awarded for AI data and financial compliance platform, expands Montreal office

Behavox has been declared the “Best Overall AI Solution” by AI Breakthrough for its machine-learning powered data operating platform, a year after winning “Best Use of AI for Voice Biometrics” from the same organization.

The new award recognizes Behavox’ full suite of AI-powered solutions for managing compliance, employee conduct, CRM and financial risk.

Behavox launched its voice biometrics capability last year, along with Chinese language support for its Behavox Voice software.

“This recognition belongs to our talented product engineers and data scientists who work tirelessly day after day to perfect our AI-powered solution for our global customer base,” comment Behavox Founder and CEO Erkin Adylov. “Businesses today are facing challenging obstacles amidst the backdrop of an unpredictable pandemic. Today’s work environment creates a decentralized risk map and the threat of misconduct is higher than ever before. Behavox’s AI solutions identify and quantify risks quickly and accurately.”

The program attracted more than 2,000 nominations from more than 15 countries.

Behavox has also expanded its presence in Montreal, Quebec, with a larger office and plans to hire engineering, data science, and product development personnel.

The company opened an office in Montreal in 2018, and signed a new long-term lease of an office with capacity for 400 employees for $35 million, according to the announcement.

“Montréal is a talent hub in AI and machine learning development. We plan on enriching it,” Adylov says in a separate announcement. “Our office expansion represents our latest strategic investment in Canada as part of our North American operations. We continue to widen our footprint in Montréal and build our team to accelerate innovation and product development for our customers. While this solution development supports our global go-to-market plan, its proximity enables Behavox to support new and existing Canadian customers with much more efficiency and focus.”
