Acuant releases no-code biometric anti-fraud and KYC solution to Central Eastern Europe

Acuant has announced the launch of a suite of codeless solutions with facial recognition for identity verification and Know Your Customer (KYC) for its Central Eastern European (CEE) market.

The solution suite, Acuant GO, is being deployed in collaboration with LetsGOKYC, and the company says in the announcement it is the fastest way to go-to-market and deploy mobile and web identity verification and KYC in compliance with regulatory, business and customer needs.

The IDV Proof solution within Acuant Go provides facial recognition and biometric liveness checks, according to Acuant’s website.

LetsGOKYC provides guidance on the Acuant GO solutions in the languages of the CEE, with demo requests in languages including Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak, Russian and English.

For the many businesses and organizations across Europe and the world are fast adapting to online and virtual transactions, Acuant GO offers a platform that will enable small, medium-sized or big businesses to step up their existing workflows without having to employ major technical resources, the statement explained.

Yossi Zekri, president and chief executive officer of Acuant, said the launch of Acuant Go is the result of long moments of work and that it falls in line with one of their objectives of helping customers fight online fraud using the latest technologies.

“Acuant GO has been in the works for some time, but it has become the go-to solution for this time we are in, we always knew where we were headed, this just accelerated the need for our goal-providing agility and speed without compromise when it comes to identity proofing, especially for remote transactions,” said Zekri.

He added that “…we want to empower businesses of all sizes in all industries and all parts of the world to fight fraud with leading technology, technology that can be implemented in a few hours, not months.”

With Acuant Go, users can carry out transaction from any location and at any time without any privacy fears, the company says, as the solutions are designed in compliance with rules of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

The solutions can be tailored to use case and risk level by users, and the fraud prevention system is powered by Acuant’s eDNA.
