Hamilton Telecommunications Joins Fujitsu PalmPartner Program

Fujitsu Frontech North America (FFNA) and Hamilton Telecommunications have partnered to offer a secure biometric solution through Fujitsu’s PalmPartner program.

“We are pleased to welcome Hamilton to the PalmPartner program,” said Christer Bergman, vice president of Fujitsu’s Biometric Solutions Group. “The PalmSecure technology line allows Hamilton to continue to deliver the latest in advanced technology solutions. This converged solution will deliver key differentiation and immediate ROI to growing numbers of agencies and departments seeking the best biometric technology.”

The Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor captures palm vein pattern using a near-infrared light. The PalmSecure device is non-invasive and extremely hygienic because it does not come in contact with the skin. It is not susceptible to changes in external conditions such as the case with fingerprinting which depends on skin types and conditions that changes with time or age or the type of manual labor being engaged that changes skin surfaces. Palm vein technology provides high-level security in biometric authentication solutions as palm vein patterns cannot be duplicated nor does it change in time.

Dan Molliconi, vice president of Hamilton Information Systems noted: “After implementing the biometric authentication solutions within our own facilities across the country, we are excited to be providing our clients with this technology for access control within their own business.”
