HT Systems, a healthcare technology leader that provides the biometric-based patient identity management, announced a partnership with CentraMed, Inc., a provider of industry-leading healthcare analytics and consulting services.

Under the new agreement, CentraMed will resell HT System’s flagship biometric solution PatientSecure, alongside the company’s cloud analytics solutions.

HT Systems’ flagship solution PatientSecure, is a biometric patient identification management system that uses palm vein biometric sensors to automatically link patients to their unique medical record, providing accurate identification of every patient, preventing fraud, reducing human errors and improving operational efficiency . Over 160 hospitals and hundreds of affiliated clinics and physician’s practices currently use PatientSecure across the country. More than five million patients are currently enrolled to the PatientSecure system and tens of thousands of those same patients are successfully authenticated on a daily basis on return visits.

CentraMed’s healthcare analytics solutions allow hospitals, physicians and payers to achieve a 360-degree view of clinical and financial data across the health enterprise. The healthcare business intelligence platform, combined with deep subject matter expertise, enables decision-makers to identify and modify practices and organizational behaviors to optimize financial performance. Organizations can analyze large-scale clinical and financial data to better navigate the quality improvement and payment reforms sweeping the healthcare ecosystem.

The partnership augments CentraMed’s strategic approach to their client’s financial performance and financial data visibility across the health enterprise.

“Through our years of experience helping healthcare providers improve their net revenue and financial visibility, we have seen many organizations suffer from compromised data integrity caused by difficulty in consistently identifying patients during the registration process,” said Roger W. Lindsay, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CentraMed. “Accurate identification of every patient, prevention of fraud and human errors are the vital steps to ensure financial data passing through the revenue cycle is reliable.
