Biometrics provider HT Systems partners with CentraMed

 

HT Systems, a healthcare technology leader that provides the biometric-based patient identity management, announced a partnership with CentraMed, Inc., a provider of industry-leading healthcare analytics and consulting services.

Under the new agreement, CentraMed will resell HT System’s flagship biometric solution PatientSecure, alongside the company’s cloud analytics solutions.

“Accurate identification of every patient via PatientSecure will help ensure patient safety, better protect patient’s personal and financial information and minimize costs associated with issues such as medical record duplicates and overlays,” said Carl Bertrams, Senior Vice President of Sale and Marketing at HT Systems. “CentraMed is well known for helping their clients successfully document real savings in revenue cycle efficiencies and PatientSecure is a proven solution that will only add to that legacy. We are delighted to join forces with CentraMed and believe there will be great synergies between our offerings to the healthcare provider market.”

HT Systems’ flagship solution PatientSecure, is a biometric patient identification management system that uses palm vein biometric sensors to automatically link patients to their unique medical record, providing accurate identification of every patient, preventing fraud, reducing human errors and improving operational efficiency . Over 160 hospitals and hundreds of affiliated clinics and physician’s practices currently use PatientSecure across the country. More than five million patients are currently enrolled to the PatientSecure system and tens of thousands of those same patients are successfully authenticated on a daily basis on return visits.

CentraMed’s healthcare analytics solutions allow hospitals, physicians and payers to achieve a 360-degree view of clinical and financial data across the health enterprise. The healthcare business intelligence platform, combined with deep subject matter expertise, enables decision-makers to identify and modify practices and organizational behaviors to optimize financial performance. Organizations can analyze large-scale clinical and financial data to better navigate the quality improvement and payment reforms sweeping the healthcare ecosystem.

The partnership augments CentraMed’s strategic approach to their client’s financial performance and financial data visibility across the health enterprise.
