Eid Passport gets cross-certification with CertiPath PKI Bridge

Eid Passport Inc. has achieved cross-certification with the CertiPath PKI Bridge.

The CertiPath PKI Bridge serves as the central hub that enables participating organizations to collaborate and share information on a global basis with high confidence that their information and physical assets are properly protected. The CertiPath Bridge eliminates the process of individually mapping a direct trust relationship between one PKI and another PKI.

According to Eid Passport, it is the largest commercial provider of U.S. Department of Defense issued credentials and this new certification means the company is now authorized to issue PIV-I credentials to better serve pent up demand by its military, commercial and critical infrastructure customers.
