Suprema nabs Korean accolades for industrial service merit

 

Suprema has announced that it has won the “Order of Industrial Service Merit,” and “Silver Tower” awards in Korea.

A total of five local companies were granted the industrial service merit award, and Suprema as the top choice of the five, was also given the Silver Tower award. According to the company, this is the highest level of recognition for growing companies in the country.

“We’re very proud of receiving the award as a robust token that directly indicates the top industry-leading company on the basis of contribution for the local economic growth,” James Lee, CEO of Suprema said. “With the recognition, Suprema will be ceaselessly making efforts to stay committed in not only driving the local economic growth but also in leading global biometrics markets by taking this opportunity being recognized as the top in the IT power house, Korea.”

It’s been a big year of awards and accolades for Suprema.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Suprema also recently won an award for best innovatinve product in ‘protection, security and fire safety’ from the MIPS conference in Moscow for one of its access control and visitor management systems.

Earlier this year, Suprema announced that its 2012 revenue rose 25% year-on-year and its net profit increased 148.7% from 2011
