Entertech deploys Suprema biometric access control devices at Switch

Entertech Systems has announced the deployment of Suprema access control devices at Switch data centers.

Specifically, Switch will be using Suprema’s BioEntry Plus biometric reader for deployment through ADI Global, a wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products.

As a reliable technology ecosystem, Switch has advanced data centers and a diverse client base. The Switch SUPERNAP is at the heart of this ecosystem.

“At ENTERTECH SYSTEMS, our highly responsive, results-driven technical support team works with partners and customers to ensure complete functionality and satisfaction with our identify management solutions.” Rob Douglas, CEO of ENTERTECH SYSTEMS said. “With technology adoption continuing to fast track at a record pace, it is becoming increasingly important that critical infrastructure such as the Switch SUPERNAPS data center is absolutely secured. And that access is only granted to authorized personnel through their ‘true identify’ rather than approximation technologies such as pass cards, personal identification numbers (PINs), or keys.”

According to recent research, the global electronic access control market is set to reach $16.3 billion by 2017, at a CAGR of 7 percent from 2012 to 2017.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Entertech recently announced a new partnership with Millenium Group to deliver access control systems.
