Cross Match opens UK office

 

Cross Match Technologies has just opened a sales office in Reading, west of London, serving the UK and other European regions.

This announcement comes as the company nears the completion of consolidating its Jena, Germany operations.

“Cross Match has a long history of supporting law enforcement, defense and security forces, as well as border agency initiatives throughout the region,” Steve Gedney, VP of sales for Europe and Asia Pacific for Cross Match said. “Having a physical presence here reinforces our commitment to the market and our valued customers.”

According to the company, the new office houses regional sales, business development and sales engineering staff. It will soon provide facilities for solution demonstrations. The company also says it will continue to maintain sales offices, maintenance and repoar, as well as select product capability in Jena, Germany for its global operations.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, Cross Match recently announced the appoints of Steve Gedney, Doug Natal and Ed Hartman to its sales team, along with the promotion of Greg McConnell to VP, Global Alliances.
