MorphoTrust completes transition of TSA HTAP to Universal Enrollment Services Platform

MorphoTrust USA has announced that it has now completed the transition of the TSA’s Hazardous Materials Endorsement Threat Assessment Program to the new Universal Enrollment Services platform.

According to the company, TSA’s HTAP conducts a security threat assessment for people looking to obtain, renew or transfer an HME on a commercial drivers’ license. MorphoTrust’s IdentoGO Centers provide enrollment services for HTAP and other security threat assessment programs covered under UES, including TSA Pre and the TWIC program.

During enrollment, applicants provide identity and immigration documents, and have their fingerprints scanned.

“MorphoTrust has been working aggressively to support the transition of these programs into UES and we anticipate that the completion of the HTAP transition will improve the enrollment process across TSA programs as well as enhance customer convenience with the added centers,” MorphoTrust CEO Bob Eckel said. “It will benefit many transportation workers, particularly those who work in maritime areas and require both a TWIC card and an HME endorsement on their commercial driver license. With over 1.7M HME enrollments to date, we look forward to supporting the growth of this program.”

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, MorphoTrust completed the transition of the TWIC program to its Universal Enrollment Services in 2013.
