IDtech360 teams up with Virdi to distribute biometric access and time system in U.S.

IDtech360 announced it has partnered with Virdi, a biometric technology brand manufactured in South Korea by Union Community, to distribute Virdi’s biometric products across the United States.

Virdi provides a range of fingerprint recognition products including access control, time and attendance, door lock, and home automation solutions.

The company has become a leader in South Korea’s commercial biometric sales as a result of its patented core technology, which includes fingerprint template creation and matching algorithms, liveness detection algorithms, and terminal design and production.

Additionally, the Virdi product line has been distributed and sold in over 100 countries.

“The Virdi advantage combines leading edge technology with the ability to build integrated systems that reach beyond a single physical setting,” said Seth Miller, IDtech360′s founder and CEO. “We believe that the features the Virdi product line has to offer-namely, access control and time and attendance-make it an especially appealing solution for those groups looking for an all-in-one solution for identity management.”

IDtech360 will distribute various components that comprise Virdi’s restricted access solution, including interior and outdoor fingerprint terminals, RF/Smart card access control system, an access/time and attendance/meal management server, and the People Count System.

The company will also make available Virdi’s latest product offering, a combined face and fingerprint terminal.

“Virdi is thrilled to be working with IDtech360,” said Steve Yoo, an account manager in Virdi’s international sales division. “We look forward to a successful and rewarding partnership.”

Reported earlier this month, IDtech360 recently launched its biometric-based access and identity management operations.
