Sensory and Nok Nok Labs to provide FIDO-Ready voice and facial authentication

Sensory Inc. has partnered with Nok Nok Labs to provide voice and facial-based authentication solutions to Nok Nok Labs’ customers that meet Fast Identity Online Alliance’s new specifications.

Under the new partnership, Sensory will collaborate with Nok Nok Labs to achieve FIDO-ready status based on the new FIDO 1.0 specification and ensure integration into Nok Nok Labs’ S3 Authentication Suite.

Sensory is offering Nok Nok Labs’ customers a range of solutions including TrulySecure, a combined voice and vision biometric authentication solution for smartphones, tablets and PCs.

The solution combines facial recognition and speaker verification to authenticate an individual, ensuring that their device is fully secure and can be accessed without a password/PIN or a cloud connection.

As a founding member of the FIDO Alliance, Nok Nok Labs provides authentication for Internet-scale applications and services through its S3 Suite.

“Nok Nok Labs is one of the leaders in the movement towards user-friendly, strong authentication solutions,” said Sensory CEO Todd Mozer. “We look forward to working with them to power the next generation of security for their customers’ products.”

Previously reported, Nok Nok Labs added support for FIDO Alliance on the final publication of the 1.0 standards, which enables service providers, enterprises and device manufacturers to upgrade their username/passwords login scheme to provide strong authentication.
