NEXT Biometrics provides fingerprint sensor for Trust Designer security device

NEXT Biometrics announced that Trust Designer SAS has selected NEXT Biometrics NB-2020-S fingerprint sensor module for its SesameTouch “My Digital Life Companion” product.

Trust Designer’s SesameTouch “My Digital Life Companion” is a personal security device that wirelessly connects to electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets to secure device access, provide password management, and facilitate secure payment transactions by fingerprint authentication.

SesameTouch “My Digital Life Companion” can also be used on its own as a security device for touchless payment or in transportation applications.

“We are glad to be able to add this exciting new concept to our list of NEXT-Enabled projects,” said Radek Matyasek, VP of sales for EMEA at NEXT Biometrics. “SesameTouch is based on open standards for strong authentication defined by Natural Security Alliance, which opens great opportunity for its mass adoption.

“In addition, SesameTouch has been also integrated into ‘My E-money Purse’ of Ticket Surf International, to form the first biometrically-enabled portable eWallet payment solution.”

NEXT Biometrics is exhibiting the SesameTouch “My Digital Life Companion” solution with the Next NB-2020-S fingerprint sensor at CARTES 2015 Secure Connections in Paris, held November 17-19.

Previously reported, the board of NEXT Biometrics passed a resolution to apply to transfer the listing of the company’s shares from Oslo Axess to the Oslo Stock Exchange main list. The application was sent to the Oslo Stock Exchange on 11 November 2015.
