FPC nominated for Telekompriset 2015, announces new integrations with Precise Biometrics

Fingerprint Cards AB announced today that it has been nominated for a Telekompriset 2015 industry award. Telekompriset or Telekom Prize acknowledges companies and individuals who have excelled in the telecommunications industry and is awarded by the independent Swedish newsletter Telecom News.

The winners will be announced at the Telecom Gala in February.

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) and Precise Biometrics also announced today that its fingerprint technology has been integrated into the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Quanwangtong and QiKu Flagship Ultimate smartphones. The devices use Precise Biometrics’ product for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch Mobile and the FPC1035 and FPC1025 touch fingerprint sensors.

Last week Fingerprint Cards announced that, in cooperation with other industry leaders, it has developed solutions to enable the use of FPC’s touch fingerprint sensor technology for automotive applications.

Bloomberg Business recently announced that Fingerprint Cards was Europe’s best performing stock for 2015, climbing 1,391% in 2015 to become the biggest gainer among the 1,000 companies on the Bloomberg World EMEA Index.
