TeleSign to add BehavioSec behavioral biometrics capabilities to mobile ID products

Mobile identity solutions firm TeleSign has partnered with BehavioSec to offer its behavioral biometrics solutions for multi-layered authentication and verification.

The partnership will see TeleSign’s mobile identity solutions introduce new capabilities for securing end-user accounts, preventing fraud and delivering continuous user verification and assurance.

TeleSign will leverage BehavioSec-developed behavioral biometrics technology, which monitors and analyzes keystrokes, mouse movements and touch-based input on mobile devices to strengthen its existing verification solutions.

BehavioSec’s solutions will help expand TeleSign’s continuous verification capabilities within customer-owned web and mobile applications to authenticate end-users without compromising the overall user experience.

“TeleSign is the brand that the world’s largest web properties, banks and mobile applications turn to for account security and fraud prevention,” said Neil Costigan, CEO of BehavioSec. “The combination of our technologies can preserve the highest level of account security for our customers, while removing complexity for the end user. Together we can help alleviate authentication pain points and provide continuous verification in a way that is transparent to the end-user, to bring increased assurance and reduced fraud.”

The partnership enables TeleSign and BehavioSec to effectively combine multiple identity assessment layers and leverage rich identity data and intelligence to deliver the next generation of authentication technologies.

TeleSign aims to release the new features and products, based on BehavioSec’s behavioral biometrics technology, in the first half of 2016.

In November, SecureAuth Corporation added BehavioSec-developed behavioral biometrics capability that performs keystroke analysis, mouse movement analysis, and touch based analysis on mobile devices to its SecureAuth IdP solution.
