MedixSafe introduces narcotic safe with facial recognition

At last month’s Long Island Fire, Rescue & EMS Mega Show, MedixSafe unveiled its newest medicine safe model that incorporates face detection and a photo capture of every user each time the safe is opened.

The official release date of this new model is planned for April 2016.

MedixSafe high tech narcotic cabinets provide medical workers with the safeguarding required for patient safety. The MedixSafe M-series incorporates biometrics, proximity card readers and PIN pads. The S-series has two separate compartments, which can be individually programmed with completely separate user credentials. This functionality offers complete separation for the daily use of the compartments while maintaining a higher level of security for back-up quantities.

MedixSafe’s field tested products provide real time email notifications to a smart phone or PC, easy network integration using wireless network, and remote access to any of MedixSafe’s six cabinet sizes.
