“Ares is a game changing technology for the law Eenforcement community at all levels,” said Anthony Iasso, President of InCadence. “Positive identification, knowing who you are dealing with, is vital for the safety of our law enforcement officers and for the general safety of the public. We are proud to put this important new capability into the hands of the men and women who protect and serve our nation.”

Other winners included: MyUSCIS, a digital web service from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services; IdentityTheft.Gov by the Federal Trade Commission and Lockheed Martin; HealthMap by Booz Allen Hamilton and Epidemico and; PushButtonPD by the Department of Homeland Security, and; Cyberskills Management Support Initiative.

According to a report by GCN, “the awards drew 147 nominations, and the judges chose 40 finalists from among IT solutions developed by government agencies, private industry and government-industry partnerships. Those 40 projects were demonstrated at the event where attendees used social media voting to choose the Igniting Innovation winner.”
