Earlier this week, MOSA Technology Solutions announced that it has been awarded several new contracts valued at $750,000.00 USD by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to provide a variety of new biometric capture devices and solutions.

According to the company website, MOSA’s extensive vendor relationships enables them to provide customers with multiple device and vendor agnostic options for biometric authentication which meet industry-specific and government mandated requirements for security measures.

The FBI Biometric Center of Excellence (BCOE) Clarksburg, West Virginia is the FBI’s program for exploring and advancing the use of new and enhanced biometric technologies and capabilities for integration into operations. Every day, the BCOE strives to deliver state-of-the-art biometric tools and technologies to law enforcement and intelligence personnel working in communities around the world.

While specific details about the contract were not released, Paul Frasca, President and CEO of MOSA Technology Solutions commented: “MOSA’s ability to source the best of breed products and systems across the biometric identification industry, combined with our ability to customize and integrate the system, were driving factors behind FBI decision.
