Macate introduces biometric credit card

Last week at Money 20/20, Macate introduced its Gardevant Card security solution for online purchases that uses thumbprint authentication.

The Gardevant Card combines encryption and biometrics to authenticate, verify and protect Gardevant card holders’ identities.

“Consumers face high risks when they make purchases online since there is no authentication process set in place,” said Mr. Issac Daniel, CEO of Gardevant. “But with our Gardevant Card, they are protected since every online purchase must also be authenticated with their fingerprint.”
