EyeLock demonstrating outdoor iris ID authentication solution at ISC Wes

EyeLock will be exhibiting its outdoor iris identity authentication solution, nano EXT, as well as several other solutions, at ISC West next week in Las Vegas.

The nano EXT is designed to handle extreme outdoor environments while providing improved security and convenience for data centers, banks, factories, industrial facilities, and office buildings.

The solution incorporates several features including an IP-67 rating for operating in extreme outdoor conditions, an IK-10 certification for its vandal-resistant construction, a standoff distance of 19-24 inches, an ADA-compliant design, and instant auto-height adjusting.

The solution also integrates seamlessly with the industry’s leading access control platforms, including Lenel, AMAG, Pacom, Software House, and Genetec, ensuring dependable, rapid, and hassle-free installation.

“The addition of an outdoor unit to our offering speaks directly to customers who want to implement a single technology approach for managing outdoor and indoor access control as well as to those looking to upgrade their exterior access points to the most advanced biometric technology,” said Anthony Antolino, chief marketing and business development officer of EyeLock.

Aside from the nano EXT, EyeLock is highlighting the following products and solutions at ISC West including HBOX, an overhead iris-based identity authentication system; nano NXT, a point of entry miniaturized iris-based recognition system; portable template, which enables nano NXT users to store templates on a smartcard or mobile device; EyeLock Identity Suite (EIS), and a browser-based centralized management application (CMA) which streamlines administration of EyeLock devices and users.

EyeLock’s solutions can be used in a range of vertical markets including enterprise security, healthcare, stadiums, government, higher education, and data centers.

The company’s proprietary iris authentication technology analyzes more than 240 unique iris characteristics and delivers a fast and seamless user experience.

Previously reported, EyeLock demonstrated its iris biometric solution on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform with X16 LTE at Mobile World Congress 2017.
