NuData Security named finalist in SC Awards 2017 Europe

NuData Security has been named a finalist in the SC Awards 2017 Europe for outstanding industry leadership in information security in the ‘Best Behaviour Analytics/Enterprise Threat Detection’ category.

NuData’s flagship product line, NuDetect, authorizes the identity of users based on their online, mobile and smartphone interactions. The solution collects the individual’s usage information and assigns a risk score to the user or transaction.

The solution integrates behavioral biometrics, behavioral analysis, device and access intelligence and a database of events across its customer base and business network.

“NuData is delighted to be selected as a finalist for the Excellence Award,” said Lisa Baergen, marketing director at NuData Security. “To be nominated is a recognition of how passive behavioral biometrics are becoming acknowledged as the future direction that digital security is headed. We’re proud to be part of that future.”

Winners in the ‘Threat Solution’ categories are determined by an expert panel of judges, selected by SC Media UK’s editorial team for their breadth of knowledge and experience in the information security industry.

The awards recognize the cyber-security professionals as well as the products and services that help protect the corporate world from a barrage of continually-evolving threats.

The SC Awards Europe will be held at a gala dinner and award ceremony on June 6 at Old Billingsgate in central London.

“We are delighted to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of NuData Security as an Excellence Award finalist,” said Tony Morbin, Editor in chief, SC Media UK. “The security risks and challenges facing private and public sector companies these days are constant and complex. NuData Security stands out among those facing this challenge head-on, fending off the many potentially devastating attacks.”

Previously reported, Mastercard said last month it will acquire NuData Security. The acquisition, whose terms were not disclosed, will see Mastercard integrate NuData’s behavioral biometrics technology into its fraud management and security products.
