BehavioSec has partnered with Kount to integrate its behavioral biometric technology into Kount’s fraud management platform.

Kount’s fraud prevention services enable online merchants increase sales and decrease losses associated with fraud.

The company reviews billions of transactions and protects several internationally-renowned brands, preventing customers from fraud attacks through the constant development of patented technologies and strategic partnerships.

“It is clear that to achieve true digitalization of our everyday transactions, we need to automate and combat online fraud through a layered and collaborative approach,” said Neil Costigan, CEO at BehavioSec. “By teaming up with Kount, we can now provide the e-commerce community with this unique behavioral technology, and work together to create a better and more secure experience for consumers across the world.”

BehavioSec deploys continuous machine learning, which authenticates users of apps and other interactive technology in real time by tracking how they naturally interact with their device in an effort to prevent fraudulent activity and attacks.

The technology captures specific user data, analyzing the details of the user’s keystrokes, press and sequence, as well as their device type and address.

By integrating this behavioral biometric technology, Kount’s fraud platform can instantly verify and confirm a user’s identity without affecting his or her experience.

“As fraud rapidly evolves, so must our solutions to manage and prevent it,” said Rich Stuppy, COO of Kount. “As strong advocates of collaborative fraud mitigation, we’re thrilled to partner with BehavioSec and incorporate their unique behavioral technology to further enhance our award-winning platform and machine learning capabilities. Together, we can better equip customers ranging from acquiring banks, to payment service providers, to online merchants to authenticate transactions and identify fraud before it happens.”

Previously reported, Appdome partnered with BehavioSec to deliver Appdome for BehavioSec, which enables mobile developers and mobility professionals to rapidly integrate advanced biometric and behavior based authentication solutions with current mobile apps without any code changes.
