OT-Morpho reports surge in TSA PreCheck enrollments in last year

MorphoTrust USA, part of OT-Morpho, has enrolled five million travelers in the TSA PreCheck program, three million in the past year alone.

The trusted traveler program allows U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR) to quickly move through security at U.S. airports in expedited lines without removing shoes, laptops, liquids, belts and light jackets. The enrollment service is run exclusively by IdentoGO, a service made by MorphoTrust.

The company saw enrollment surge from two to five million travellers in the past year by introducing: mobile enrollment RV stations at business parks, universities, and music festivals; a Groupon package that includes a voucher for TSA PreCheck Application Program enrollment as well as $150 worth of hotel discounts, and; adjusting the advertising campaign to focus on millennials.

“The TSA PreCheck program makes air travel more secure and more convenient for everyone,” explained Bob Eckel, CEO of MorphoTrust USA. “MorphoTrust has made great progress expanding the enrollment infrastructure to meet the growing demand for the travel program over the past year. Our biggest priority is making it as easy and fast as possible for more Americans to enroll in TSA PreCheck, especially ahead of the busy summer travel season.”

OT-Morpho is the result of the merger between OT (Oberthur Technologies) and Safran Identity & Security (Morpho) completed earlier this year. Temporarily named “OT-Morpho”, the new company will unveil its new name in September.
