Fingerprint Cards tech featured in OPPO F5, ZTE Axon M

OPPO’s first full-screen smartphone, the F5, recently launched featuring Fingerprint Cards‘ FPC1035 touch sensor. The two companies have worked together for more than 3 years.

According to a company statement, the FPC1035 offers the industry’s lowest power consumption and supports programmable wake-up functionality and #D pixel-sensing technology.

The Swedish biometrics company also announced that its FPC1145 sensor is featured in the new ZTE Axon M smartphone, integrated into the power button on the device’s slim side. The FPC1145 allows 360-degree rotation of the finger.

In other company news, Fingerprint Cards teamed up with TheTrustChain and ING bank this weekend to showcase a new innovation that creates a biometric link between an entitlement and connected private persons, companies, machines or objects.

TheTrustChain is an ING funded innovation project which is directly supervised by ING Group Innovation Council headed by several ING Board Members and the ING Global Head of Innovation.

Last week, Fingerprint Cards issued its interim report for Q3 2017.
