VisionLabs and Network Optix form global strategic partnership

VisionLabs and Network Optix have formed a strategic partnership to integrate VisionLabs’ LUNA PLATFORM deep neural network-powered biometric data management system with the Nx MetaVMS open video management platform in an uncontrolled facial recognition solution, which the companies are presenting at the GPU Technology Conference in San Jose.

The solution combines cloud, desktop, server, and mobile apps with a suite of developer tools for developing intelligent video products.

“In just a few years, we envision a world where AI-enabled video will become an integral part of every product,” said Richard Fei, president and CEO of Network Optix. “To address this, we created Nx MetaVMS to provide a full set of tools for companies to develop and productize their own AI-enabled video applications. With Nx MetaVMS seamlessly integrated with the LUNA PLATFORM, our partners and customers will be able to design and implement virtually any facial recognition use case scenario — from classic watchlists to big data analytics in a smart city ecosystem.”

“Our midterm strategy is to broaden our solution portfolio with our valued partners,” said Alexander Khanin, founder and CEO of VisionLabs. “We are constantly improving our core products, LUNA SDK and LUNA PLATFORM, where beyond looking at quality and performance, we also focus on simple and prompt integration tools with our partners’ products. Our customers in security video surveillance and access control segments seek solutions with face recognition that work out-of- the-box and are available in the Nx MetaVMS with LUNA PLATFORM by design.”

VisionLabs announced a strategic partnership with BS/2 late last year to create a line of interbank services based on facial recognition.
