SureID emerges from acquisition and reorganization with new head office and GM

 

After a major acquisition and team reorganization, SureID with a new General Manager and a new corporate office located in Portland, Oregon.

Sterling Talent Solutions, one of the largest background screening and HR solutions companies in the world, acquired SureID in late 2017, and Ned Hayes became Sterling Vice President and SureID GM in July, 2018. Hayes previously served as a strategic manager for Intel’s Software and Services division, and before that co-founded identity startup TeleTrust, and was responsible for product and marketing at A.R.O., which was founded by Paul Allen.

“SureID is well positioned to lead the market in fingerprint-based identity,” says Hayes. “The SureID team has already deployed a market-leading fingerprinting network that covers over 800 nationwide locations. We are excited to re-establish SureID as a market leader in fingerprint technology and biometric validation.”

SureID currently has 30-plus employees at its new corporate office space, and recently formed a partnership with Inquiries Screening to offer an end-to-end fingerprinting solution for government sector job applicants.
