Biometrics industry veteran to lead ID R&D sales team

ID R&D today announced John Amein has been appointed Vice President of Sales, responsible for leading the sales team and driving global growth.

Amein has more than 20 years of voice and speech technology expertise including leadership positions in high tech sales and marketing in the U.S. and Europe. He has held executive positions at Dialogic Corp, Intel Corp, Aspect Software, and Voxeo Corporation, as well as served as CEO of NetByTel. Amein also founded VoiceReady LLC, a provider of speech recognition solutions which was acquired by Voxeo.

Amein also serves on the Strategic Advisory Board for North Carolina State University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He earned an MSEE from Stanford and a BSEE from NC State.

“ID R&D is in a prime position to capture increasing market share,” said Alexey Khitrov, CEO of ID R&D. “John’s deep biometrics experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we reach new growth milestones.”

ID R&D recently released a biometric authentication solution for messaging platforms.
