BehavioSec adds new security features to behavioral biometric continuous authentication platform

BehavioSec has added features for detecting attack obfuscation techniques, Docker support, and a real-time feed of more than 1.5 billion compromised devices to its BehavioSec Behavioral Biometric Platform v5.0 to extend the anti-fraud defenses and continuous authentication capabilities of its bank, fintech, retail, and cloud service customers.

The software platform will now detect the use of VPNs and TOR-routed traffic during login attempts and sessions, and simplifies on-premise deployment with Docker container support, according to the announcement. It has also added improved continuous touchscreen gesture information for enhanced detection on mobile devices, as well as new detection algorithms. BehavioSec has also received new patents related to its new capabilities.

“Our financial services, retail and other customers all have common digital transformation goals – they need to rapidly scale security in ways that drive customers‟ trust and improve the user experience across Web and mobile interfaces,” said BehavioSec VP of Products, Jordan Blake. “Today with Docker support, enhanced detection and integration updates, we continue to turn the tables on fraud by making ‘the human algorithm’ the strongest link in security. By continuously authenticating users according to unique behavioral attributes – instead of a password or text message someone can steal – BehavioSec reinvents anti-fraud as traditional password-driven security is increasingly known for performance limitations and needless friction.”

BehavioSec’s platform also now offers more case management options, and automated integration of fraud-alerts with third-party case management software.

The company was recently recognized for its continuous authentication innovations with inclusion on the 2018 Fintech 250 list from CB Insights, and was also selected to the GSMA 100 list of promising growth-stage companies.
