Fingerprint Cards’ biometric technology deployed in two new Xiaomi smartphones
Fingerprint Cards has revealed that two recently launched Xiaomi smartphones feature Fingerprint Cards’ sensors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 was launched with the FPC1511 sensor and the Xiaomi Play features the FPC1028 sensor. Xiaomi has deployed Fingerprint Cards’ technology in a number of smartphones including the Xiaomi MIX 3 with the FPC1291 sensor and the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo with the FPC1229 sensor which were released last October.
This week Fingerprint Cards and Identity Devices Sweden AB announced a multi-year partnership to accelerate biometric adoption in global digital identity, financial technology, internet of things and other innovative, fast-growing vertical markets.
