Neurotechnology has launched the new version of its line of biometric solutions, cloud services and SDKs, MegaMatcher 11, with deep learning algorithms enhanced for improved accuracy, speed, and interoperability.

MegaMatcher 11 supports fingerprint, face, iris, voice, and palmprint biometrics, alone or in combination, with algorithms the company says were among the top ranked in NIST MINEX, PFT, FRVT, and IREX evaluations.

“With continued research in modern neural networks, our team introduces another leap in person identification accuracy by using multiple biometric traits separately or together,” says Neurotechnology R&D Manager Dr. Justas Kranauskas.

The MegaMatcher Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) has been updated with all the necessary components to deploy a large-scale on-premise or cloud biometric system. The Democratic Republic of Congo used MegaMatcher ABIS to identify more than 5 million duplicates in less than two months from multibiometric voter records this year.

“Biometric systems tend to be associated with a high level of complexity,” comments Denis Kacan, MegaMatcher ABIS product manager. “With the MegaMatcher ABIS product we aim to minimize the possible challenges by delivering a solution which is easy to comprehend, use and maintain. The latest version brings a new level of efficiency with a simplified and adjustable system workflow. The new MegaMatcher ABIS Cloud Service is one more step towards our goal – it can shorten project delivery time and reduce hardware and maintenance costs.”

The MegaMatcher Accelerator, SDK, and on Card SDK have all been updated as well. Neurotechnology also touts its second-place finish in NIST PFT II one-to-one accuracy testing (submission 4E) and NIST IREX IX evaluation, as well as respectable results in FRVT testing.

Neurotechnology also recently launched a new Face Verification SDK for enterprise app development.
