ZKTeco USA has announced a strategic partnership with V-Authenticate, an independently owned software developer known for its visitor management software called VAMS (Visitor Authentication and Management System).

ZK VAMS is currently deployed in more than 1,000 locations representing over 350 customers located in 13 countries across the world. According to the announcement, VAMS is used by many Fortune 500 companies in markets including commercial and residential property management, banking, consumer product manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and education.

VAMS software incorporates visitor authentication by requiring the visitor to prove their identity by displaying on their phone a QR code or an OTP sent from the visitor’s “host” via text message or e-mail, preventing imposters and unauthorized users from gaining fraudulent access to a facility.

“Regardless how much time and money you spend fortify your building, your investment is wasted if you cannot safely and efficiently inspect and track visitors,” explained ZKTeco USA president and founder Manish Dalal. “We’ve adopted the VAMS software to address this important void in the market.”

“We’ve seen tremendous adoption of our VAMS software by end-users,” added V-Authenticate CEO Nikhil Kothary. “By partnering with ZKTeco, we additionally gain access to the thousands of physical and logical security installers currently partnering with ZKTeco. VAMS is very affordable and I’m confident will do well in ZKTeco’s sales channel.”
