Fingerprint Cards partners with FutureCard on biometric cards for Middle East banks
Fingerprint Cards and FutureCard Industries have partnered to bring contactless biometric payment cards to bank customers in the Middle East region.
According to the announcement, the card will feature Fingerprint Cards’ FPC-BEP software platform for payments and the T-Shape module which is part of FPC’s 1300 series.

With interest growing in fingerprint-based biometric payment cards, the Secure Technology Alliance has published an introductory resource for card issuers, issuer processors, payment networks and merchants to explain the business case, impact, and considerations for deploying the technology.
