Laxton launching multi-modal biometric desktop device at Identity Week

Laxton Group revealed it that it will formally launch the ChameleonD integrated, multi-modal biometric desktop device next week at Identity Week 2019 in London. Laxton launched the Chameleon product line last year at Trustech 2018.

At Identity Week Laxton will showcase the complete range of Chameleon multi-modal biometric devices, including those aligned to the European Entry Exit System, specifically the Chameleon 8 Slap, which was designed for mobile passport/ID biometric verification. Laxton notes that its software solutions and Chameleon devices are tailored to a range of civil ID identity registration, identity authentication, law enforcement, border control, election, and know-your-customer applications.

“The ChameleonD, true to the fundamentals of the Chameleon brand, is highly configurable and without question the most adaptable integrated desktop device in the world. It will further bolster the highly successful Chameleon8 and Chameleon5 product ranges” says Nick Perkins, President of EMEA for Laxton.

Laxton will also be exhibiting at ID4Africa 2019 later this month.
