TypingDNA releases new typing biometrics-based MFA solution
TypingDNA launched a customizable MFA solution today that uses a combination of typing biometrics, SMS OTP, or email OTP to authenticate users in a secure, frictionless manner.
The solution works on-cloud or on-premise and can be deployed in a variety of use cases including authenticating customers in digital channels and employees in their SSO and IAM systems. TypingDNA reports that its behavioral biometrics technology is used in industries such as banking, financial services, and insurance as well as online identity verification for online learning organizations.
TypingDNA MFA offers frontline security and fraud prevention and meets compliance regulations for 2-factor authentication (2FA). By deploying typing biometrics with other authentication factors, companies can quickly begin to passively authenticate users without the need for additional hardware.
“After listening to our customers around the world, we have chosen to simplify the authentication process designing an all in one product capable of complementing companies’ authentication needs reducing identity fraud while improving user experience,” explains Raul Popa, CEO, and co-founder of TypingDNA. “This unique MFA solution is fully customizable and easy to scale so small businesses, and large corporations can equally benefit from it. Our frontline computer scientists continuously better our proprietary AI algorithms keeping in mind the risk of data theft and sensitive corporate information.”
TypingDNA raised $1.5M in seed round funding earlier this year from European venture firm GapMinder Venture Partners, as well as several international investors from U.S., U.K., and the European Union.
