BIO-key introduces partner program for multi-factor biometric authentication

BIO-key has introduced a Channel Alliance Partner (CAP) program for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Security Integrators, and VARs that deliver integrated multi-factor biometric security solutions for their customers, the company announced.

The newly launched program will authorize company partners to resell BIO-key’s biometric authentication solutions, including ID Director for Windows that runs with Microsoft Active Directory to deliver biometric Single Sign-on (SSO) or Multi-factor authentication (MFA) across the enterprise. The product offering includes ID Director for SAML (biometric authentication into SAML-enabled apps) and BIO-key’s fingerprint scanners that work with Windows Hello and Windows 10.

“We are excited to offer a BIO-key program with incentives for channel partners who sell integrated security solutions,” said Fred Corsentino, BIO-key’s chief revenue officer. “Partners will be able to add new opportunities to their pipeline with expanded, higher-margin product offerings. Meanwhile, we expect this program to extend BIO-key’s sales reach within the market, particularly as the need for convenient and reliable multi-factor security grows.”

According to Corsentino, Florida-based CyberPeak Solutions is one of the partners joining the CAP. The company is focused on advising companies with cyber security solution optimization and implementation, so it adopted the multi-factor SSO and MFA solution, as well as BIO-key’s ID Director and fingerprint scanners.

“With continued credential theft and advanced attacks on our clients, BIO-key allows CyberPeak to provide customers with a flexible, best of breed multi-factor solution,” explained Travis Abrams CISSP CISM, senior security architect at CyberPeak. “BIO-key helps our customers ensure they meet compliance requirements and proper diligence in protecting data and providing secure access to systems. This is done in a user-friendly manner with low impact to our current business processes.”

In September, BIO-key’s multi-factor biometric authentication solution for Windows Active Directory network log-in was deployed by a South American National Police Force to secure network sign in for the organization’s Windows devices using hundreds of BIO-key’s EcoID finger scanners. Other police organizations that have deployed the company’s solutions include the Singapore Police Force and the Dubai Police Force.
