ForgeRock releases IAM tool for hybrid cloud and discusses Identity Fabrics with KuppingerCole

ForgeRock has launched its Identity Cloud for hybrid cloud deployments, integrating the company’s Identity Platform-as-a-Service (IDPaaS) and ForgeRock Identity Cloud Express, an SaaS solution created to help developers insert identity features into applications.

The ForgeRock Identity Cloud can be used in any deployment scenario, whether on premise, hybrid cloud, public cloud, or as-a-service, because it works with the same APIs and SDKs as the ForgeRock Identity Platform. The Identity Cloud is a modern, multi-tenant architecture with full tenant isolation, using a ‘shared-nothing’ security model with unified REST APIs and common SDKs for portability of workloads.

ForgeRock Identity Cloud Express supports and speeds up app integration with secure registration, account recovery, and modern multi-factor authentication.

The ForgeRock Identity Cloud PaaS (IDPaaS) offers features such as full identity lifecycle and relationship management, identity sync and provisioning, and end-user self-service, as well as adaptive and risk-based authentication including SSO and MFA, fine-grained authorization policy, and a universal directory.

Analyst firm KuppingerCole has recognized ForgeRock as an industry leader and the companies will together hold a webinar on December 10. The suggested method is based on consolidating identities by integrating and re-using existing legacy IAM technologies, delivering seamless and secure access to digital services for thousands of employees and millions of consumers, and ensuring availability of identity services through APIs.
