Aratek brings fingerprint and facial biometrics technology to Intersec Dubai 2020

Aratek brings fingerprint and facial biometrics technology to Intersec Dubai 2020

Aratek will showcase multi-factor biometric authentication terminals and its TruFace line of facial recognition and matching devices at Intersec 2020 later this month in Dubai.

The TruFace line of facial recognition and matching devices include the BA8100, BA8200 and BD8500 terminals that provide hardware-independent live face detection system powered by Aratek’s patented TrustFace algorithm. The BA8200 and BD8500 terminals also combine facial and fingerprint recognition for enhanced security and reliability.

Samuel Wu, Aratek’s VP for Sales, International Business Department, points out that “since the live face detection system requires no extra hardware, TruFace is a truly cost-effective and reliable face-enforced solution suitable for a wide range of applications such as border control, access control, secure identification, and more.”

Aratek will also demonstrate the Marshall which integrates registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module and its latest BM7550 terminal which integrates face, fingerprint, and contactless NFC. The company notes that the BM7550 is ideal for homeland security, as well as for health care, law enforcement, and time and attendance monitoring.

The Middle East is an increasingly important market for Aratek, according to Wu, who notes that the company is “uniquely positioned to fill the region’s requirements for better border security, access control, financial systems, and many other applications.”

“We are excited to show the Arab market how Aratek’s multi-factor authentication and multi-biometric technology can help solve its real-world problems in security and safety,” Wu adds. “With security and safety being on top of the agenda of many Middle East governments, Aratek’s innovations such as TruFace are certain to find their way into a whole range of applications.”
