Tessi to provide ID document data capturing from new partner Smart Engines to European enterprises

 

Smart Engines has formed a technology partnership with France-based Tessi, which will offer the Russian AI company’s document data management tech to support European enterprises digital business transformation intiatives.

Tessi provides business process services, specializing in the delivery of workflow automation services and providing user and customer-experience oriented platforms and services. The company is integrating Smart Engines’ technology for extracting personal data from passports, ID cards, and driver’s licenses in mobile applications and online services using Smart IDReader. Smart Engines Smart IDReader extracts data from more than 1,100 identity documents from more than 200 countries, according to the announcement, and has been used in remote customer service and for KYC and AML checks in compliance with regulations on personal data.

Smart Engines says its Green OCR technology uses optimized and energy-efficient neural networks to increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.

“We are interested in cooperating with companies that develop truly innovative AI products and solutions, which are able to transform not only businesses, but entire industries,” states Pierre Charara, Head of CETIA at Tessi. “The inclusion of Smart Engines solutions into our product line is a great step towards enhancing the range of our services and broadening our area of expertise.”
