Boon Edam has partnered with AnyVision to integrate Abraxas touchless facial recognition access control technology with Boon Edam’s security doors and optical turnstiles for enhanced security and a seamless entry experience, the company announced.

“At Boon Edam we understand that first impressions are everything, and customer and employee experience begins as soon as someone opens the door,” Jonas Oijevaar, Business Development Manager at Royal Boon Edam International, said in a prepared statement. “Together with AnyVision, we are ensuring that experience is not only state-of-the-art, safe and trusted, but also effortless.”

A number of test pilots showcasing tech benefits are in motion, as the companies plan to soon introduce their solution globally.

“AI has the potential to revolutionize every industry. AnyVision’s mission is to make AI accessible to the world, with the goal of making every device smart, redefining safety and security in the physical world,” AnyVision Chief Revenue Officer Ray Brancato said in a prepared statement. “This partnership with Boon Edam brings us one step closer to that reality. With our combined expertise, we are bringing next-generation experiences and faster, seamless access to buildings around the world.”

AnyVision is supplying Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov Hospital) with a fever detection system with thermal cameras that differentiates high temperature causes.

In May, Boon Edam partnered with Alcatraz AI to integrate biometric facial recognition with entrance control systems for contactless access control.
