Facial biometrics for safe employee processes launched by MiHCM, Human Recognition Systems
MiHCM has introduced biometric facial recognition with geo-tagging and geo-fencing for attendance authentication, writes Adaderana Biz. Companies can now use real-time facial recognition to monitor workforce attendance, while preserving a safe working environment, according to the article.
“We are continuously innovating and updating our products to deliver the best employee experience for all our customers,” said Harsha Purasinghe, founder and CEO of MiHCM, in a prepared statement. “As businesses around the world implement safety practices to combat COVID-19, facial recognition technology will be imperative to ensure employee safety while accurately capturing workforce attendance. By eliminating the need to physically contact the attendance capturing devices, we hope that MiHCM Mobile App will help businesses immensely during this period.”
The new feature is available for MiHCM Mobile, an innovative mobile app for full-service human resources management that has been deployed across multiple Southeast Asian markets. The contactless attendance system ensures an inclusive experience and can help prevent the spread of the virus in a working environment.
MiHCM Mobile does not depend on the MiHCM HR platform, so companies can integrate the mobile facial recognition feature for check in and check out with their existing HR system. MiHCM Mobile integrates with MiHCM Cloud Digital HR for end-to-end operational and talent management operations. Together, the two platforms create a centralized system for automated and touchless attendance management.
MiHCM also released a digital HR Bot for Microsoft Teams to help HR understand productivity levels, deliver digital experiences for workers and support multiple HR services. The cloud HR solution provider covers over 300 companies in 15 markets including banking and finance, manufacturing, telco and retail and technology.
Biometric digital solution for construction workers
Human Recognition Systems has introduced the MSite Workforce App for construction workers, which provides contactless sign-in and entry control verified with biometrics on the user’s phone, direct-to-worker notifications, and social distancing Bluetooth monitoring and reporting.
The company has partnered with top names in the construction industry to release a digital solution that improves site management and productivity post-pandemic.
A fully integrated solution into MSite, it uses the phone’ biometric authentication for ID verification, after which the device can be used as a virtual contactless card. Contactless entry using the MSite Workforce App will work with existing MSite hardware.
