Vision-Box is inviting you to join them for a continuing series of live debates Sep. 30th and Oct. 1st at 15:00 CET where a distinguished panel of experts, governments and industry leaders will discuss the EU Schengen Smart Borders Entry/Exit program, its legislative, technical and operational requirements, and the challenges in implementing a digital collaborative management system at Air, Land, and Sea Border crossing points.

The first panel session on September 30th, composed of Air/Land/Sea transportation operators, will focus on how security, situational awareness, throughput efficiency, and the passenger experience is improved using Smart Border technology and its corresponding impact on airport, land, rail, and port terminal infrastructure.

Speakers include Krum Garkov (eu-LISA Executive Director), Serge Hanssens (PwC Advisory Partner), Matti Letho (Head of Process Development at Finavia), Marta Pimentel (Smart Borders EES Business Consultant at Vision-Box) and other experts from EU wide Air/Land/Sea Travel Operators.

This webinar offers the opportunity to find out more about:

– How to be best prepared for a successful implementation of the EU Smart Borders EES program at nationwide level

– How Smart Borders technology helps alleviate the vulnerabilities, flaws, inefficiencies, and significant pressures created at border control points where the resources needed for a well-ordered, systematic, and effective clearance process may not be available

– What best practices and lessons learned from other disruptive initiatives and modern identity frameworks can be leveraged to maximize the efficiency for all impacted actors

The second panel session on October 1st, composed of EU Member States and their respective Border Agencies, will focus on how compliance with the new Entry/Exit system regulations impacts border operations, EU member states, and border agencies.
Possible best practices to be leveraged to ease the implementation of the program will also be discussed.
