Aerendir Mobile hosts webinar, launches biometrics-powered trust certificate

Aerendir Mobile has announced both a webinar taking place on October 21st, as well as a new biometric key-binding tool.

The online event will discuss the increasing need for encrypted and auditable digital identity solutions and will present A-Cert, Aerendir’s latest take on the issue.

A-Cert merges a dedicated Trust Certificate and key-pair with a person’s biometric signature, thus increasing authentication security, the company says.

The goal is achieved by replacing traditional data such as name, address, credit card number, or social security number with biometric information like fingerprints or face data.

A-Cert is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution, meaning it can be used with a variety of third-party devices for more versatility.

The tool is designed for different applications but is primarily intended for access control, as well as m-commerce, online payments, mobility, and health applications.

Aerendir Mobile’s webinar discussing A-Cert will feature a presentation about the new tool, followed by a live Q&A.
