identity verification integration

Digital signage manufacturer CAYIN Technology and network-attached storage appliances company QNAP Systems have entered a partnership for the development of premium multimedia solutions.

The collaboration will see the companies build NAS (Network-attached Storage) tools, with safe, reliable, and high-capacity storage space for large-scale digital signage networks, according to the announcement.

The solutions developed will benefit from integration with various QNAP products, including CMS Station, MediaSign Player, and the company’s facial detection and recognition solution.

The companies will first unveil a new smart signage solution, to provide users the possibility to install CAYIN CMS Station via QNAP APP Center.

This will help save the cost of compatibility verification during system integration procedures and speed up project delivery.

Using the new platform, system integrators will then be able to build up SaaS environments for large-scale digital signage projects, as well as tailored on-premise services for specific applications with flexible licensing.

The solution’s compatibility with CAYIN MediaSign Player and QNAP NAS will also enable users to experience high-quality video playback, together with an intuitive video converter, and straightforward file transcoding.

The second solution unveiled by CAYIN Technology and QNAP Systems is a smart advertising one. The tool will integrate CAYIN SMP digital signage player within QNAP facial recognition software-QVR Face Tiger.

This way, the software will be able to engage target customers with biometrics-based personalized advertising contents based on a variety of parameters, including age, gender, and numbers of customers.

The new partnership is already underway, and CAYIN’s customers can now utilize QNAP digital signage servers with secure storage space to save a large number of high-resolution multimedia materials.

QNAP users, on the other hand, will now be able to enjoy professional digital signage solutions and various multimedia-related applications on existing platforms, increasing NAS applications considerably.
