Remark biometrics and temperature screening to be deployed at seven Oklahoma healthcare facilities

Remark Holdings’ temperature screening technology and biometrics have been selected by Morton Comprehensive Health Services of Tulsa, Oklahoma to check patients and staff at all seven of its facilities.
Morton has contracted Remark AI’s Thermal Kit and rPads, which will perform automated body temperature measurement.
The rPad provides touchless employee check-ins with Remark’s facial recognition, and according to the announcement can accurately assess the body temperature of even employees wearing masks. The medical-grade infrared thermal imaging sensor of the rPad is accurate within 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit, Remark says, and the device can also perform PPE detection and attendance management. Thermal Kit provides people counting and social distancing monitoring, and can be mounted on walls tripods or ceilings. The company claims it can also scan more than 120 people per minute, and track individuals who are found to exceed the selected temperate threshold.
“The Remark AI biosafety platform continues to be chosen by medical centers, hospitals, and clinics around the country as a first line of safety for both patients and employees,” notes Kai-Shing Tao, chairman and CEO of Remark Holdings. “Our biosafety platform alleviates the need for keeping a valuable staff member off the floor and provides a discreet and seamless experience for temperature checks, PPE compliance, tracking temperature data, and protecting both staff and patients.”
