Trulioo appoints CRO to oversee planned biometric verification revenue growth
Trulioo has appointed Matt Schatz as its new chief revenue officer (CRO) to lead the company’s sales department through the next phase of revenue growth anticipated for its biometric identity verification solutions.
The company has established a track-record of growth that resulted in Trulioo being named among Canada’s top 100 fastest-growing companies in 2020.
Schatz brings years of experience as a business executive to Trulioo. He held the same position at Consential where he conceived and implemented a sales strategy for SMB, Enterprise and Channel segments of the company that was bought over in 2020.
He also had a stint with WP Engine for six years, and held global sales leadership positions at Rackspace for a period of 10 years, significantly growing the company’s revenue and overseeing its IPO.
“I’m excited to collaborate with the Trulioo leadership team to build out strategies and plans that will catalyze revenue growth while helping the company stay on track with its mission of delivering financial inclusion and broadening our services for verifiable digital identities globally,” the new CRO said of his appointment.
Trulioo President and CEO Steve Munford expressed excitement that Schatz’ coming on board will help the biometrics company accelerate its growth prospects.
“We’re thrilled that Matt is joining us in this pivotal role and we look forward to his global enterprise sales leadership that will accelerate growth, expand our strategic partnerships and enhance customer engagement globally,” Munford said.
Trulioo also named a new CFO in late-2020.
