Feitian Technologies has entered a new distribution agreement partnership with UK AV and IT solutions distributor Northamber to provide Feitian’s biometric and multi-factor authentication solutions to the UK market.

“FEITIAN enables us to meet the increasing demand from our partners for strong authentication solutions, at an extremely competitive price point,” explained Tony Price, director of Northamber Solutions. “It fits perfectly in our range of MFA solutions.”

Northamber is a value-added reseller providing cameras and hardware for physical and network security, among other product areas.

Feitian produces contact and contactless smart cards, EMV chip cards, payment terminals, and user authentication solutions for secure online banking and transaction security, many of them featuring biometric sensors from Fingerprint Cards.

Moving forward, the companies said they will continue to collaborate on the manufacturing and distribution of biometrics and other authentication technologies.

“We are honored to establish this partnership with Northamber,” said Byran Wu, director of International Business, Feitian Technologies. “In the future, FEITIAN will continue to provide Northamber with innovative, cost-effective, and versatile authentication products to empower Northamber’s MFA solutions.”

The partnership with Northamber follows Feitian’s expansion efforts in 2020, which included the company renewing its partnership with FPC back in April and joining forces with Ambiq to work on biometric solutions for access control in August.
