IdentiSys partners with Qmatic to wholesale queuing system in North America
IdentiSys has announced an expanded partnership with Qmatic to become the only North American wholesale distributor of Qmatic’s Q-Guide queuing system.
Identisys is an integrator of identification, card issuance, emergency response and access control systems including cards with embedded biometrics. Qmatic specializes in customer and patient experience management systems. Under the terms of the contract, IdentiSys will be responsible for North American distribution, sales and inventory.
“Since Q-Guide has never been available in North America and there was not a wholesale distributor, we realized that IdentiSys and Qmatic could expand the partnership. We are pleased to become the first and only wholesale distributor in North America of Qmatic’s Q-Guide products,” Mike Shields, CEO of IdentiSys said. “We are always looking for new opportunities, new products and new value-added services to offer our customers. North American end-user customers and resellers who are looking for a quick and easy entry-level queuing solution with sophisticated features now have readily available options.”
Identity documents increasingly include biometrics, and according to a recent Steria survey, the majority of Europeans are in favor of using biometrics for criminal identification, as well as identity documents and passports.
