AGNITiO launches updated mobile voice biometrics platform

AGNITiO has just launched version 4.1 of its KIVOX Mobile Platform, which the company says includes advanced anti-spoofing protection and ease of use enhancements.

“Relevant and essential to user authentication vendors and mobile device manufacturers, the AGNITiO Voice iD platform is being rapidly integrated into a variety of mobile applications,” Mike Goldgof, VP of Marketing for AGNITiO said. “Among all voice biometrics engines on the market, AGNITiO Voice iD is uniquely secure and easy to use, is FIDO Ready today and immediately available for simple integration and deployment.”

According to the company, the new system is capable of recognizing the difference between a voice recording and a live voice, preventing ‘replay attacks.’

“Strong authentication is critical to connect users, their devices and the systems they access,” Frank Dickson, Frost & Sullivan Network Security Industry Principal said. “AGNITiO Voice iD offers a transparent authentication experience with a high degree of irrefutability and makes mobile transactions quick and easy.”

Reported previously, Dictao recently partnered with AGNITiO to offer AGNITiO’s voice biometric authentication platform for its commercial clients.

The overall market for voice and face biometrics is expected to reach nearly $3 billion by the end of 2018. Currently, the United States accounts for the largest share of these markets, though according to a recently-published report, most of the anticipated growth in the market will come from emerging economies, with Asia-Pacific getting special mention in that regard.
