Authasas integrates Next Biometrics’ new fingerprint scanner in authentication middleware

Next Biometrics Group ASA. announced that Dutch authentication solutions firm Authasas has integrated the new Next Biometrics 3010-U single fingerprint scanner with its authentication middleware.

The partnership enables Authasas customers to deploy Next Biometrics’ fingerprint authentication device.

Authasas’ patented and centrally managed middleware — which can be integrated with most Microsoft Windows operating systems — provides authentication, authorization and comprehensive auditing capabilities and remote access via mobile devices.

“Authasas helps companies to protect their data with strong authentication” said Radek Matyasek, VP sales for EMEA at Next Biometrics. “When you use Authasas Advanced Authentication middleware together with our biometric reader, you can be sure that the right person accesses your company information.

“Additionally the software is user friendly and supports additional factors of authentication, so customers have the flexibility in deploying strong, multi factor authentication in combination with our fingerprint reader. ”

Previously reported, Next Biometrics Group ASA recently received multiple orders from six companies this month for fingerprint sensors to be integrated in new small mass market product formats.
